About me

Any serious Blog undertaking requires a long term commitment. In addition to moderating the Blog I’ve undertaken to provide content.

As my Bio outlines, I have an extensive background in the organization and management development field. Not only was I a co-founder of two organizations directly related to these fields, I was also an active practitioner in both firms. I also created and lead several companies and was able to understand and learn what leadership was about in very practical terms.

Despite that, what I know about this field probably fits into a thimble. I am fortunate however to have inherited an extensive and content-rich resource library of books and articles that both my late partner Max Garfinkle, PhD Columbia and I had developed in our research during the 90’s. Included are a series of papers that Max wrote, that I will be drawing on for the Blog.

About every contributor

But my hope is to gather together content from a wide variety of consultants, academics and interested organization leaders that will greatly enrich the content of the Blog. Due to the nature of the framework, there are virtually no restrictions on possible content. Contributors can provide “ideas” covering every aspect of organization development.

The Contributor section recognizes them and provides readers with background and contact information.
