2000-2009 – iPerceptions Inc: CEO/President and Co-founder

Co-founded and led the development of North America’s leading web-focused Voice of Customer analytics provider. Its enterprise level webValidator solution, free 4Q website survey solution, and proprietary iPerceptions Satisfaction Index (iPSI) turns thousands of data points from the input of visitors to websites into easy-to-understand strategic and tactical decision support for website marketers. iPerceptions’ clients include such well-known brands as InterContinental Hotels, General Motors, Dell, Hyundai, LG Electronics, Choice Hotels International, BMW, Ford, Samsung and Monster Worldwide as well as thousands of small to medium size clients in over 50 countries and operating in over 20 languages.

1993-2000 – CSI Diagnostics: CEO and Co-founder

Co-founded, assisted in the development and led the Company from its inception. The Company’s unique Organization Optimizer™ organization diagnostic methodology allows organizations to quickly understand and measure their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and undertake initiatives to optimize themselves – creating an environment of continuous improvement. CSI clients have included such well-known brands as GE Healthcare, Alcan, Pfizer, Bayer, Industry Canada, DuPont, L’Oreal, Villeroy & Boch and Sara Lee as well as multiple small to medium size clients in North America and Europe.

1984-1993 – Mage Centers for Management Development; President and Co-founder

Co-founded and led the Company’s business development and administration. Mage created one of the world’s first one-to-one coaching models for managers. Its innovative approach was used by major corporations in North America including such well known brands as Honeywell, Canada Wire (Alcatel), Public Radio, The Boston Globe, and Duracell plus many other small to medium size businesses.

1969 through 1984:

Co-founded one of the world’s first on-line income tax processing services in Canada (Rapatax); Founded one of the first on-line commercial business services company using time-sharing technology (Onli Services);

Founded a consulting company that helped over 60 small and medium size businesses install their first mini-computers (Jerry Tarasofsky & Associates); and

Co-founded one of the world’s first consumer electronic chains (Compucentre) selling through both company owned and franchised locations across Canada; through which I introduced into the Canadian marketplace the first Apple, Commodore, Texas Instrument, and IBM Junior and PC computers; Atari, Fairchild, Intellivision and ColecoVision computer game units; and the first software offerings, including Lotus 123 and Word Perfect.

On a personal note: I stand on the shoulders of my late partner Max Garfinkle PhD Columbia (1927 – 1999). As a result of our personal and working relationship for over 15 years I have greatly benefited from his wisdom and creativity.
